The website demonstration
All vehicle examples are bundled with the website. Search, filters and side-by-side comparisons run in your browser. This preview does not send your search terms to the vehicle comparison API, create an account, accept listing submissions or collect an email signup.
What is stored in the browser?
The demo does not use cookies or browser storage for your shortlist. Selected example-car identifiers travel in the comparison page’s URL. Avoid putting personal information into URLs. Fonts and the compass mark are served with this website; no analytics or advertising scripts have been added.
Hosting and access
When you visit, the website host receives ordinary network requests, which may include your IP address and browser information. The initial hosted preview is private and may require sign-in through the hosting provider. Provider access controls and logging operate separately from this website’s demonstration code.
The extension is a separate product flow
In the extension pilot, requested comparisons send detected vehicle details and the listing URL to the configured comparison server. Saved cars and notes are kept in the Chrome profile. This website does not read that profile or expose the host’s SQLite database.
Before public launch
The publisher identity, support contact, final hosting and logging arrangements, retention details and extension-specific privacy disclosures still need to be finalized. These are release requirements, not features of this demo. No public Chrome Web Store release is announced here.
